Job summary

Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces in Metro Atlanta seeks a Permit Expeditor to own the permitting process from review to final issuance. You will collaborate with internal teams, engineers, architects, and municipalities to identify requirements early and keep projects moving toward construction.

Focus on proactive communication, issue resolution, and ownership of results. This role offers impact across design-to-construction workflows and requires strong organization and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organization and attention to detail required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience in construction permitting, landscaping, carpentry, architecture, engineering, or municipal work is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead permitting coordination with municipalities, planners, and engineers.
• Coordinate documentation with designers, engineers, and vendors; ensure timely submissions.
• Track permits, revisions, and approvals; keep stakeholders updated on progress.
• Provide backup support for PMO tasks and assist with project documentation.
• Maintain organized permit tracking and internal checklists; reduce delays and rejections.
• Provide weekly client updates on permit status, requirements, and delays.
