Job summary

Inspected is a fast-growing, tech-enabled platform transforming remote inspections and permitting for construction. We seek a Permit Billing Coordinator in Plantation, FL (In-Office) to manage permit-related billing and invoicing on the Inspected platform.

You will reconcile permit and municipal fees, serve as the primary contact for invoice questions, and partner with Permitting and Accounting to ensure accurate revenue recognition and clear customer communications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years in billing, AR, accounting support or related admin role.
• Strong attention to detail; able to reconcile figures across sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with contractors and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and billing/accounting software; quick learner.
• Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate, timely invoices for permit fees and services.
• Verify billing against permit records and fee schedules.
• Reconcile permit and municipal fees; resolve discrepancies with Permitting and Accounting.
• Process credits, adjustments, and corrections with clear documentation.
• Serve as the primary contact for invoice questions and disputes.
• Maintain billing records and supporting docs for audit and reporting.
• Prepare regular billing and fee reconciliation reports for leadership.
