Granbury ISD is seeking a Permanent Substitute (Instruction) to support classrooms across Granbury Middle School, Texas. The role involves providing instructional support and maintaining continuity of learning when substitutes are needed.

Under the supervision of certified teachers, you will deliver targeted instruction, reinforce district curricula, monitor student progress, and help manage the classroom environment throughout the campus day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with substitute training.
• Ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Effective communication with children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide permanent substitute coverage when classroom gaps occur.
• Deliver instruction using district curriculum and provided lesson plans.
• Maintain orderly, safe, and academically focused classrooms.
• Take attendance and document student learning and activities.
• Provide targeted instructional support in reading, writing, and math.
• Collaborate with teachers to identify instructional priorities.
