Qualifications

• Ability to manage a classroom and enforce school rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and discipline in the classroom.
• Create a positive learning environment for students.
• Help students understand lessons and follow teacher plans.
• Mentor and engage students during class and activities.
• Handle misbehavior and conflicts promptly and fairly.
• Capture and maintain students' attention during lessons.
• Review and implement lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
• Present content prepared by the classroom teacher to students.
• Assist students with tasks and ensure comprehension.
• Record and track attendance and follow school attendance policies.
• Time attendance states and manage related changes.
• Establish rapport and effectively manage classroom dynamics.
• Record and, if needed, grade assignments and participate in recess duty.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment and fit in seamlessly when the full-time teacher is absent.
