Job summary

GQR is seeking a highly driven Recruiter to scale our Permanent division. This role focuses on direct-hire healthcare recruiting, supporting Acute Care clinicians nationwide with a 180-recruitment scope and growth opportunities.

You will build relationships with physicians and allied professionals, conduct in-depth screenings, negotiate offers, and partner with leadership to align hiring priorities. Hybrid work from Austin, NYC, or Omaha, with a September 22 start date.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct-hire/permanent healthcare recruiting experience required.
• Strong understanding of permanent placement recruitment nuances, including candidate relationship management and offer negotiation.
• Self-motivated, results-driven hunter mentality with proactive sourcing and networking.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with physicians and clinical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and place Acute Care clinicians in permanent/direct-hire opportunities nationwide.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-quality clinical candidates through consultative recruitment strategies.
• Conduct in-depth candidate screenings to assess clinical background, career motivations, compensation expectations, and cultural alignment.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and outreach through offer negotiation, acceptance, and placement.
• Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines across high-demand specialties and markets.
• Partner closely with internal leadership and business development teams to align recruiting efforts with client hiring priorities.
• Provide market insight and candidate feedback to support strategic growth initiatives and business development efforts.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience with professionalism, urgency, and strong communication throughout the process.

You will play a key role in shaping future recruitment strategy and establishing best practices. This is an opportunity for long-term growth within our direct-hire/permanent placement team.

The Opportunity

• Source, recruit, and place Acute Care clinicians such as Nurses and Allied professionals in permanent/direct-hire opportunities nationwide
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-quality clinical candidates through consultative recruitment strategies
• Conduct in-depth candidate screenings to assess clinical background, career motivations, compensation expectations, and cultural alignment
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and outreach through offer negotiation, acceptance, and placement
• Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines across high-demand specialties and markets
• Partner closely with internal leadership and business development teams to align recruiting efforts with client hiring priorities
• Provide market insight and candidate feedback to support strategic growth initiatives and business development efforts
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience with professionalism, urgency, and strong communication throughout the process
• Maintain flexibility to connect with physicians and APPs outside of standard business hours when necessary to accommodate provider schedules

What You Bring

• 3+ years of direct-hire/permanent healthcare recruiting experience required
• Strong understanding of the nuances of permanent placement recruitment, including candidate relationship management and offer negotiation
• A self-motivated, results-driven “hunter” mentality with a proactive approach to sourcing and networking
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility with physicians and clinical professionals
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches, priorities, and timelines simultaneously
• Professional maturity and sound judgment when navigating sensitive candidate conversations and career decisions
• A consultative, solutions-oriented mindset focused on creating long-term successful placements
