Job summary

Family Resource Center of South Florida is seeking a Permanency Staffing Specialist Facilitator to lead and coordinate permanency staffings for children in out-of-home care. You will ensure timeliness, engage all parties, document in SACWIS, and align with CFOP and Florida statute requirements.

The role requires CWCM certification (preferred), a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and experience in child welfare.

Qualifications

  • Certified or provisionally certified by the Florida Certification Board as CWCM, CWCM-P, CWPI, or CWPI-P (Preferred).
  • At least one year’s experience in a Child Welfare, or related field.
  • A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required. Related degrees are preferred (list of related fields).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate permanency staffing meetings to ensure timely permanency outcomes.
  • Coordinate with IPM and supervision for scheduling and information sharing.
  • Document SACWIS records within required timeframes and track staffing metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with CFOP, Lead Agency policy, and Florida statutes.
  • Collaborate with Case Management and other departments to ensure meaningful staffings.
