Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in human services-related studies or equivalent.
• Alternative qualification with a bachelor’s degree in any field and 2+ years in human services.
• Associate’s degree in human services-related studies as acceptable.
• Five years in a human service–related occupation meets the requirement.

Responsibilities

• Review case materials and assess adoption readiness with agency staff.
• Screen home assessments for potential matches and participate in matching conferences.
• Meet face-to-face with children freed for adoption and identify important connections.
• Plan and evaluate recruitment activities using the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids model.
• Increase public awareness through social media and outreach materials.
• Maintain case records and assist with grant documentation and reporting.
• Provide after-hours/weekend services as needed and participate in National Adoption Month.

Education

Bachelor's in Human Services

Bachelor's degree in any field with 2+ years in human services

Associate's degree in Human Services

5+ years in human services occupation
