KVC Kansas is seeking a Permanency Case Manager to support families and children in Topeka, KS. The role involves in-home and community-based services, collaboration with DCF and partners, and advocacy for clients in court and service meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services-related field is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Preferred licensure by the Kansas BSRB.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and understand families’ lived experiences.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, caregivers and partners.
• Communicate information with families and professionals in a timely manner.
• Provide in-home and community-based services, including observation and connection-building.
• Coordinate resources and crisis interventions when needed.
• Advocate for clients with court testimony and service coordination meetings.
• Document thoroughly: case notes, assessments, court reports, and histories.
