  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
  • Provide skilled speech-language therapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Participate in care planning and communicate resident progress.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies and recommendations.
  • Promote safety, independence, communication, and quality of life.
