Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a permanent, full-time role at a 58-bed skilled nursing facility in Camden, Maine. The position offers 40 hours per week with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
• ASHA certification or eligibility preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Provide skilled speech-language therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care planning and communicate resident progress.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies and recommendations.
• Promote safety, independence, communication, and quality of life.
