Job summary

Northampton Community College seeks an Academic Grants Coordinator to manage the Perkins Grant program and other PDE grants, partnering with deans, faculty, and advisors to advance degree and credential attainment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in an appropriate discipline from CHEA-accredited institution
• Three+ years of experience in community colleges workforce programs or career & technical education at the secondary or post-secondary level
• Experience administering the Perkins grant; experience with government grant programs preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate needs analysis, market surveys, graduate surveys and Perkins V research to identify viable articulation agreements
• Coordinate CNLA and quarterly stakeholder advisory meetings with K12, colleges, business and community partners
• Coordinate quarterly stakeholder meetings to address Perkins-funded needs and ensure follow-through
• Promote PDE-sponsored training with the Academic and Student Affairs division
• Develop, implement and renew SOAR agreements and local articulation initiatives
• Coordinate Prior Learning Assessment for SOAR awareness and NCC credit records reported to PDE
• Coordinate CTE program approval through CATS and annual updates
• Monitor grant assurances and collect documents for NCC Grants tracking
• Develop Perkins Local Plan and Annual Performance Report
• Identify and align programs with Perkins and other grant goals with staff/faculty
• Review capital items with Grants Accountant; engage deans and faculty for funding and professional development
