Job summary

Northampton Community College seeks an Academic Grants Coordinator to manage Perkins-funded academic elements and related programs. You will coordinate articulation, needs assessments, stakeholder meetings, and PDE reporting to advance degree attainment and credentials.

Under supervision of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, you will work with deans, faculty, and advisors to drive grant programs, monitor budgets, and support program approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent knowledge and experience in career and technical education.
• Knowledge of local labor market; employment needs and trends.
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, and employers; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate needs analysis, market surveys, graduate surveys and Perkins V research to identify viable articulation agreements.
• Coordinate local needs assessments and stakeholder advisory meetings with K12, colleges, business, community organizations, faculty, students, and parents.
• Lead quarterly stakeholder meetings; capture needs funded by Perkins and other programs and ensure follow-through.
• Collaborate with Academic and Student Affairs to promote PDE-sponsored training.
• Coordinate development and renewal of SOAR agreements and CTE local articulation.
• Work with Prior Learning Assessment to ensure credit articulation and reporting to PDE.
• Manage NCC CTE program approvals through CATS and annual updates.
• Monitor grant assurances and collect documents; coordinate with Grants Dept.
• Develop and implement the Perkins Local Plan and Annual Performance Report.
• Identify programs aligning with Perkins goals and grant requirements with staff and faculty.
• Review NCC capital lists for Perkins-related items and coordinate with Deans and faculty.
