Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Perkins Coordinator and Technical Assistance Program Lead to guide CTE improvement statewide. You will support schools and educators through visits, workshops, and policy interpretation to raise program quality and student outcomes.

The role requires coordinating Perkins training, monitoring grants, and collaborating with Workforce Development Board partners, with telework options and a flexible, hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• One year as a Career and Technical Education Advisor 1 or five years of professional CTED experience.
• An equivalent combination of CTED experience and training may be accepted.
• PA residency requirement is waived for this title.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide leadership to improve CTE programs and guide schools and educators.
• Conduct visits, workshops, and professional development to build capacity.
• Interpret Perkins requirements and provide actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate and present Perkins training workshops.
• Monitor Perkins funds for compliance with legal requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration with Workforce Development Board and stakeholder committees.
