Job summary

Stop & Shop is seeking a highly motivated Non-Perishable Manager to oversee daily operations across Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy. You will lead department teams, drive sales, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of supervisory experience in retail grocery, a 4-year degree preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy.
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Direct training of non-perishable department teams and evaluate performance.
• Foster diversity and inclusion within the team.
• Manage labor relations to ensure policy compliance and resolve issues.
• Coach for efficient operations and cost reduction.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock management.
