Job summary

Bellavance Beverage Co. is seeking a demand planning professional to forecast, order, and manage perishable inventory from ~28 beverage suppliers.

You will build demand forecasts in the company’s RAS/ERP, incorporate supplier and sales insights, and coordinate with suppliers to submit orders and schedule shipments. You will collaborate with Sales and Warehouse teams to maintain inventory levels that ensure sell-through before expiration, arrange inbound shipping, validate pricing, and assist

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong mathematical, analytical and quantitative skills.
• Experience with statistical modeling and analysis and AI models; Excel at intermediate-to-advanced level.
• Ability to improve processes by adopting new technology and tools.
• Proactive monitoring of key indicators and issue prevention.
• Strong communication skills to engage partners and team members on demand insights and inventory issues.
• Attention to detail (pennies and decimal points).
• Well organized with a structured workflow.
• Self-disciplined and motivated with limited oversight.
• Team player with diverse colleagues for company success.
• Beer knowledge and passion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forecast, order and manage perishable inventory from ~28 beverage Suppliers.
• Build demand forecasts using RAS/ERP and data; incorporate supplier and sales insights.
• Build and submit orders according to lead-time schedules.
• Consolidate and schedule inbound shipments to optimize freight and freshness.
• Monitor rate of sale and move inventory before expiration.
• Validate invoice pricing against system pricing for received products.
• Own setup of new SKU’s and SKU maintenance in the RAS.
• Manage transfers between distributors and inventory variances with warehouse.
• Submit supplier promotional reimbursement requests; coordinate returns.
• Establish and strengthen supplier relationships.
• Attend monthly sales meetings and weekly operations meetings.
• Process monthly draft deals in coordination with customer service.
• Complete supplier inventory audits as requested; perform outside-hours support as needed.
• Gain/loss of account SKU placements and account activities impacting demand.
