Job summary

Dollar General seeks a General Warehouse Worker (Perishable) to handle merchandise efficiently and accurately in the distribution center. You will move items by hand or forklift, verify shipments, label and palletize, replenish pick zones, and load outgoing goods while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key duties include auditing incoming and outgoing merchandise, using RFU devices, and collaborating with supervisors to resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in automated distribution centers preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise within the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Verify received merchandise and enter data into the system.
• Identify, label, and palletize merchandise.
• Replenish pick areas as needed.
• Fill orders from stores and load into trailers.
• Report damages or vendor issues to supervisor.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
