Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department to maximize sales and minimize shrink.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store items properly.
• Maintain proper product levels in the Perishable Department (meat, lunchmeat, dairy, etc.).
• Process beef and grinds as directed and assist with production tasks.
• Wrap, label, weigh and stock meat cases; assemble and clean grinders as needed.
• Follow Food Lion safety guidelines and dress code; complete CBT and trainings.
