Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department Associate in Wilmington, NC to deliver excellent customer service and maintain perishable product categories. You will assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating items in meat, dairy, lunch meat, and frozen sections while following safety and company guidelines.

The role emphasizes fast, friendly service, accuracy, and teamwork with store associates. Prior retail or grocery experience is beneficial and a willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service abilities.
• Able to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical ability to perform duties.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, fast, accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Maintain product levels and proper presentation of meat, dairy, and other perishables.
• Use company tools (ACIS, CAO) for ordering and inventory tasks.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Keep department clean, sanitized, and in line with corporate standards.
• Assist with advertising materials and department layouts as required.
