Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Selector for our perishable distribution centers to pick product, build pallets, and prepare for shipment. The role involves handling items in a chilled environment, lifting 50-100 lbs, and using powered equipment after training.

You will work to maintain 99.9% accuracy and 100% productivity while adhering to food safety standards, safety procedures, and shift schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework a plus.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
• Attention to accuracy and detail in picking and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Select damage-free product to build pallets neatly with labels facing out.
• Verify product against pick tickets and maintain complete paperwork.
• Maintain required productivity and accuracy standards (100% and 99.9%).
• Operate material handling equipment after training.
• Maintain pallet cleanliness and safe storage procedures.
