Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a team member for the Perishable Department to deliver high-quality customer service and maintain product standards. You will assist with receiving deliveries, stocking meat, dairy, and frozen items, and ensure rotation and cleanliness in the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department.
• Receive deliveries, rotate and store merchandise according to guidelines.
• Maintain product levels in meat, lunchmeat, frozen, dairy, and ice cream areas.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Keep department clean and organized and use company tools for ordering and inventory.
