Dollar General in Cullman, AL is seeking a hands-on Perishable Department Lead to manage produce, meats, dairy, bakery, and related inventory. You will work under the Store Manager to ensure safe operations, attractive merchandizing, and strong customer service while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, enforcing food handling rules, training staff, recording perishable stock levels, and implementing markdowns and ordering guides to minimize waste.

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math and percentages for inventory and pricing.
• Experience with cash register functions and generating reports.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Understanding of safety policies and proper food handling practices.
