Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a Peripheral Operator for its Edgewood, NY location. You will operate and monitor IBM high-speed laser print equipment, manage print cycles, and ensure quality and timely job completion.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate.
  • Minimum of two years work experience; one year in a print production environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of InfoPrint Solutions, Kodak, and/or OCE continuous forms printers is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills; multi-tasking across priorities.
  • Must be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative.
  • Overtime/weekend/holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

  • Organize print cycles to meet daily deliverables and SLAs.
  • Review print requests and logs; ensure timely sign-off and proper files.
  • Prioritize daily/weekly job streams and assign tasks to operators.
  • Ensure output quality meets standards; monitor as printed.
  • Communicate backlog and production status to management.
  • Report equipment problems promptly to management/vendor.
  • Assist in outsourcing decisions and deadline resets when needed.
  • Follow procedural commands on IPM and IPW.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a physical Broadridge location where work will be performed 100% of the time.## **Responsibilities:*** + You will organize print cycles to meet daily deliverables and service level agreements, and monitor quality by reviewing printed materials as jobs are being processed.+ Reviewing print requests and logs to ensure operators sign them on time and verifying the proper files are being printed/processed correctly.+ You will prioritize daily and weekly job streams and workflow with the ability to assign tasks to operators and Sr. operators based on skill and ability.+ Ensure that the quality of all work produced meets quality standards. Also, continually monitor print work as it is printed.
