Dunes Surgical Hospital in South Dakota is seeking a Urology Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the Operating Room, Pre-Op and PACU.

You will evaluate patients, follow physician orders, maintain sterile technique, document care, and collaborate with surgical teams during procedures.

Candidates must be a BSN graduate, hold current RN licensure, have BLS and ACLS certifications, and perform well in a high‑stress environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the Operating Room, Pre-Op, and PACU.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care per physician orders during perioperative care.
• Document care accurately in patient records and follow up on missing data.
• Collaborate with physicians, scrub nurses, and other team members during procedures.
• Monitor patient status, adjust care plans as needed, and ensure proper handoffs.
• Participate in professional development and adhere to OSHA and infection control policies.
