Dunes Surgical Hospital is seeking a skilled Operating Room/Pre-Op/PACU RN to provide direct and indirect professional nursing care. You will document care, adhere to policies, and participate in a collaborative surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating perioperative care, maintaining sterile technique, and documenting patient data while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university.
• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to function in a high-stress environment.
• Team player with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Know and adhere to hospital policies and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
• Follow nursing care policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure surgical room sterility and safety for the patient.
• Plan, implement and evaluate preop, intraop and postop nursing care per orders.
• Maintain sterile field and assist scrub nurse and physician.
• Document care and organize patient medical records accurately.
