Job summary

Dunes Surgical Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to plan, coordinate, and oversee perioperative care for patients in PACU, Pre-op, and Step-Down areas. You will execute orders under a licensed practitioner and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Qualified candidates are RN licensed, graduate from an accredited program, and hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Leadership and teaching abilities are essential for team-based patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of accredited college or university.
• Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
• Work experience as a professional nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients in PACU, Pre-op & Step-Down departments.
• Documents care appropriately and fully; follows up on missing data.
• Maintains and demonstrates current skills in IV therapy, med administration, patient assessment, airway maintenance, and respiratory interventions.
• Collaborates with other health care providers in health care management.
