Responsibilities

• Greets, escorts, and transports patients to and from surgical areas.
• Assists with operating room turnover and room prep between cases.
• Performs damp dusting to support infection prevention standards.
• Cleans surgical rooms and changes linens as needed.
• Assists with pulling instruments and preparing OR for procedures.
• Handles surgical specimens to the laboratory per protocols.
• Monitors oxygen tanks and replaces as necessary.
• Stocks supplies and supports cost‑effective practices.
• Retrieves blood products from Blood Bank per procedures.
• Removes trash and coordinates with EVS.
• Daily stocking of inner core supplies and fluid warmers.
