Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Perioperative Transition Program (PTP), an OR training initiative designed to develop intra-operative clinical and professional skills.

The program combines classroom and OR-based training across multiple surgical procedures, with placements in Davis Island Main Level 1 Trauma OR, 4K Women’s Center OR, CVTOR, or 6K Robotic Center of Excellence OR.

Qualifications

• BSN strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of clinical RN experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care to manage a caseload of surgical patients.
• Perform duties under the direction of the Nurse Leader/Charge Nurse.
• Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal care.
