Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join its growing Perioperative Services team, offering roles in the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Operative (PreOp), Perioperative Services, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

You will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care across the surgical continuum and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other professionals to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license is required and must be current.
• Experience in perioperative care is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care throughout the surgical experience.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure outcomes.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery and discharge.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies and standards.
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality initiatives.
• Support a positive, team-oriented environment.
