Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan in Grand Rapids is seeking a Lead Perioperative Tech to oversee anesthesia delivery equipment and lead a team of Perioperative Technicians in a fast-paced surgical setting. You will ensure machines and monitors are calibrated, maintained and safe for use, while collaborating with anesthesiologists, CRNAs and nursing staff to optimize patient care.

This full-time, day-shift role requires a high school diploma, BCLS certification and at least one year of perioperative tech

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Perioperative Technician.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead a team of Perioperative Technicians; provide training and guidance.
• Ensure anesthesia machines and monitoring devices are calibrated and safe for use.
• Implement protocols to meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, CRNAs and nursing staff to optimize patient care.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during procedures and provide timely solutions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
