Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Lead Perioperative Technician to oversee anesthesia delivery equipment and coordinate a team of Perioperative Technicians. The role collaborates with anesthesiologists, CRNAs and nursing staff to optimize patient care and ensure devices are properly calibrated and maintained.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, BCLS certification, and at least one year of perioperative tech experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
• One year of experience in the Perioperative Technician role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Technical proficiency with anesthesia equipment and sterile technique.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinating: Leading a team of Perioperative Technicians, providing training and guidance.
• Equipment Management: Ensuring all anesthesia machines and monitoring devices are calibrated, maintained and safe for use.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing protocols to adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Working closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow in the operating room.
• Problem solving: Addressing any technical issues that arise during procedures and providing immediate solutions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
