Memorial Hermann Health System in Stafford, TX seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time role in the Main OR, with a 40-hour workweek and 8:00 am–4:30 pm shifts, Monday through Friday. A call requirement and CST licensure are noted; grandfathered Surgical Techs may be considered; BLS required.

This position is located at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of OR experience, perioperative patient care skills, and the ability to act as a scrub

Formación

• Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
• License/Certification: NBSTSA or NCCT certification or eligibility; BLS required

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge and practice of perioperative patient care concepts; first scrub in assigned specialty areas.
• Provides support for readiness and flow of cases to facilitate overall functioning of the unit.
• Verifies supplies/instruments/equipment prior to procedures; applies asepsis principles.
• Maintains safety and quality of service within budget and time guidelines.
• Mentors and supports less experienced staff in the department.
