Job summary

Qualifications

• Require Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Prefer previous health care experience.
• Prefer certification in related healthcare.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to follow written/verbal instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist perioperative nurses and anesthesia care providers with patient care.
• Check and restock supplies; move medical equipment; may prepare equipment for use.
• Clean and return equipment to correct storage locations after use.
• Perform between case/end-of-case cleaning in the procedure rooms; perform anesthesia turnovers between patients and at end of schedule.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe environment.
