Brown University Health is seeking a Supply Chain Procedural Technician to provide high‑level customer service and operational support to perioperative services and related departments at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI.

You will maintain stock levels, process orders, and coordinate with vendors and department staff to ensure uninterrupted supply for operating rooms and procedural areas, while upholding Brown University Health's values and standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, operating rooms, or procedural areas.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, operating room environment, and inventory management preferred.
• A high level of interpersonal skills to effectively represent Brown University Health and Supply Chain in interaction with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn necessary supporting information systems.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains quality assurance and practice standards in accordance with established system policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Counts, organizes, orders, delivers, picks, packs, puts away, inspects, and/or receives equipment and supplies as required.
• Keeps supplies available to support patients and caregivers in operating rooms, procedural areas, and ancillary departments.
• Reports supply shortages and urgent order status to appropriate parties and works with vendors to expedite deliveries.
