Job summary

WVU Medicine Golisano Children's is seeking a Supply Chain Inventory Supervisor to lead a team of analysts responsible for Perioperative Services supply management. The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, cost containment, and implementing organization-wide initiatives in collaboration with OR leadership.

You will oversee inventory counts, establish PAR levels, manage reorder points, and ensure compliance with storage regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and two years of supply chain experience OR high school diploma with four years of supply chain experience
• Four years of supply chain experience in a healthcare environment
• CMRP certification preferred
• Experience supervising teams and driving inventory optimization in healthcare settings

Responsibilities

• Oversees annual and periodic inventory counts
• Perpetual Inventory: supervises perpetual inventory for high-dollar locations (Surgery, Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Imaging)
• Prioritizes workload to manage multiple priorities
• Guides and coaches less experienced team members
• Analyzes and trends clinical supply cost, spend, and utilization data
• Maintains OR storeroom, reorder points, and accurate inventory levels
• Ensures compliance with storage regulations and guidelines
• Interacts with Procure to Pay to ensure timely orders and reconciliations
• Determines PAR levels and items stored on-site
• Maintains inventory turns and collaborates with departments on stock levels
• Administers electronic implant and tissue tracking systems
