Job summary

Owens & Minor in Louisiana and Mississippi seeks a Surgical Sales Executive to drive the perioperative portfolio within an assigned territory. You will partner with Territory Sales Executives and cross-functional teams to drive growth, lead product evaluations, and support standardization across OR environments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of OR/perioperative/clinical experience, strong product knowledge, and a proven sales track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5+ years of OR/perioperative/clinical experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge within surgical/perioperative environments.
• Experience with surgical products (e.g., drapes, gowns, custom trays).
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a quota-driven environment.
• Understanding of healthcare procurement processes and contracting.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and business planning resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical evaluations and conversions for responsible categories with focus on efficiencies and cost savings.
• Develop and execute territory sales strategy and forecasts.
• Coordinate with Territory Sales Executives and cross-functional teams to drive growth.
• Educate customers on bundled and procedure-based solutions and drive adoption.
• Maintain CRM activity, account plans, and stakeholder mapping, including OR decision-makers.
