Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Manager of Perioperative Services to provide leadership and operational oversight for all perioperative phases.

You will optimize patient outcomes, improve staff performance, and ensure safe, high-quality surgical care. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, optimizing schedules, monitoring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement to achieve superior surgical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years leadership experience, upon hire
• Or minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline, upon hire
• Master's Degree and no experience, upon hire
• Registered Nurse (RN) license - TX, upon hire
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days of hire

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient flow throughout perioperative services from admission to discharge.
• Provide consults in diverse patient care situations requiring advanced competency.
• Serve as clinical resource for problem solving and staff support.
• Act as a role model to develop staff competence in delivering nursing care.
• Oversee cost-effective operations, including product evaluation, waste prevention, materials management, patient flow, overtime control, and staff mix.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care to surgical patients as needed.
