Job summary

OrthoVirginia, Virginia’s largest provider of musculoskeletal care, is seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee PAT, Pre-Op, and PACU teams in a high-performing ambulatory surgery center. This role partners with physicians and executive leadership to shape best practices, develop staff, and drive continuous perioperative improvement.

You will recruit and coach teams, ensure readiness for accreditation, manage operations and budget, and champion patient safety across the surgical

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 5+ years of nursing leadership experience in PACU, perioperative services, surgical services, or ambulatory surgery settings.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations across PAT, Pre-Op, and PACU services.
• Promote evidence-based nursing practice and adherence to AAAHC and AORN standards.
• Recruit, coach, and retain talented nursing professionals.
• Maintain readiness for accreditation and regulatory surveys.
• Manage departmental resources, scheduling, and productivity.
