Job summary

Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists seeks an experienced ASC Clinical Pre-op & PACU Supervisor to lead the Pre-op and PACU units at our Spokane facility. The role oversees clinical practice, staff development, scheduling, and quality improvement to ensure safe, efficient perioperative care.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with WA licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least three years in perioperative nursing plus two years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Current Washington State RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum three years perioperative nursing experience.
• Minimum two years leadership or charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical and operational management of Pre-op and PACU departments.
• Coordinate patient flow from admission through discharge.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and assist with direct patient care as needed.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on daily surgical volume and patient acuity.
• Assist with emergency management and ensure infection prevention practices.
