Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of five years experience in perioperative nursing, with at least two years supervisory, managerial, or other responsible nursing experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical and operational activities for the perioperative nursing units.
• Develop and implement departmental goals, policies and procedures to meet patient and hospital needs.
• Manage budgeting, staffing and supply expenditures for the perioperative cost centers.
• Participate in hospital committees and contribute to policy development across divisions.
• Lead quality improvement and education initiatives within the department.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput and service excellence.
