Job summary

The Healthcare Initiative is seeking a Director of Perioperative Services for a prominent Southwest hospital. You will oversee a high-volume, technologically advanced perioperative program with 16 operating rooms and plans to expand to 20, including a large GI suite and robotics program.

Reporting to hospital leadership, you will shape strategy, staffing, and quality outcomes, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to drive excellence across general,

Qualifications

Current RN license.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
3+ years of leadership experience in perioperative or surgical services within a similar sized OR.
CNOR, CPAN, or equivalent surgical services certification preferred.
Track record of building strong physician and interdisciplinary relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead perioperative service line across 16 ORs with capacity to expand to 20.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to shape strategy, staffing and quality outcomes.
Manage integration with ambulatory surgery centers and multi-specialty medical group.
Drive continued accreditation and clinical excellence (e.g., Joint Commission Gold Star, Chest Pain Center, etc).
Foster physician and cross-disciplinary relationships to sustain program growth.
