Job summary

University Health's perioperative services team seeks an organized administrative professional to support Endoscopy, OR, and Cath labs, handling scheduling, data entry, and timekeeping.

You will work closely with surgeons and nursing staff, enter cases promptly, protect patient privacy, and perform unit clerk duties under supervision.

A high school diploma is required; two years experience in block scheduling and case billing preferred; familiarity with mainframe systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years experience in surgical block scheduling and case billing preferred.
• Familiarity with mainframe scheduling and medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Perioperative services.
• Enter and manage scheduling cases in a timely and accurate manner.
• Protect patient privacy and handle confidential information.
• Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and staff daily.
• Perform timekeeping and unit clerk duties as assigned.
