Your responsibilities include patient assessment, intraoperative monitoring, post-operative care, and ongoing adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Louisiana.
• Operating room experience required.
• BLS/ACLS certifications as mandated by facility.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterility of equipment.
• Assess patients before, during, and after surgery; monitor vitals and responses.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with surgical team and patient families.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
