Job summary

Lexington Health in West Columbia seeks a Nurse Supervisor to manage the perioperative department, coordinating nursing care and daily operations in all areas. Minimum BSN and 3 years perioperative nursing experience with an active SC RN license are essential; national certification or progress toward it is expected within 12 months

Qualifications

• BSN required with RN license in SC; national certification in specialty or within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 3 years perioperative nursing experience.
• Current RN license to practice in South Carolina; specialty certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational functions of all staff in the assigned perioperative department.
• Coordinate daily nursing activities in all perioperative areas.
• Ensure compliance with Lexington Medical Center standards and SC Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate leadership in staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with staff, patients and families.
