Job summary

McDonough District Hospital is seeking a PASS RN who will assess, plan, implement and evaluate perioperative nursing care during PASS interviews. The role requires knowledge of nursing policies, PPE and disaster procedures, with the ability to coordinate with the surgical team.

The successful candidate must hold an Illinois RN license and CPR certification, and will participate in orientation, departmental inservices and continuing education to support high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed RN in Illinois.
• CPR certifications required.
• Knowledge of nursing policies and procedures, PPEs and disaster manuals.

Responsibilities

• The PASS RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of the patients before surgery during the PASS interview.
