Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Iowa licensure as an Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS, BLS, & PALS certification within 6 months.
• Mandatory Reporter certification within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Preferred experience: 1 year RN, scrubbing, AORN standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in all phases of surgery.
• Prepares the operating room and assists the surgeon as scrub.
• Ensures sterility and safety of supplies and equipment.
• Also performs central sterile processing functions.
