UCLA Health in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a dedicated perioperative RN for our Outpatient Surgery Center. The PTU/PACU RN provides comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, with responsibilities including anesthesia recovery, pain management, and patient education.

The ideal candidate has California RN licensure, a BSN or MSN, and at least 2 years of PACU or critical care experience. BLS/ACLS is required, with PALS within 6 months of hire.

Qualificações

• Current valid California RN license required.
• BSN or MSN required.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous/recent RN experience in PACU or critical care unit.
• BLS, ACLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional nursing care for patients in the Outpatient Surgery Center (Santa Monica) PACU/PTU.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative assessments and care; monitor recovery from anesthesia.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality care and efficient patient flow.
