University of Southern California Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in California seeks a PACU Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care and education after surgery. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to manage diverse patient populations using evidence‑based nursing practice and the nursing process.

The role requires a BSN, 1 year PACU/ICU experience, CA RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).

Competenze

• BSN degree required, grandfathered if hired before 12/2019.
• 1 year PACU or 1 year high-acuity ICU experience required.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of medical procedures including blood collection and apheresis per policies.
• Committed to patient care excellence and customer service.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
• RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing) license required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required; CCRN preferred.
• Fire Life Safety Training required (LA City, if applicable).
• CCR or CPAN preferred for advanced credentials.

• Manage PACU patient populations using evidence-based nursing care.
• Develop and adjust care plans for direct and indirect care.
• Explain health treatments to patients and families; provide patient education.
• Delegate tasks based on scope of practice and capability.
