Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Peri-Operative (OR) Registered Nurse for PRN coverage in Round Rock, TX. The RN provides nursing care per standards, supervises patient care in the OR, and ensures safety and compliance with center policies.

The role requires an RN license in Texas, BLS/CPR, ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years of RN experience, with ASC/OR experience preferred. Work is on-site, part-time, with a flexible schedule to support the center’s daily surgery schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two (2) or more years RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the operating room and supervise patient care in a single OR.
• Prepare the operating room and equipment for procedures and ensure asepsis.
• Conduct time-outs, assist anesthesia, and support the surgical team during procedures.
• Maintain compliance with policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety requirements.
