Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic seeks an ASC Registered Nurse (Peri-Operative/OR) to provide nursing care in the ARC Surgery Center South in Austin, TX. The role supports a single operating room, ensuring patient safety and adherence to standards, policies, and procedures.

You will organize time, equipment, and staff, perform time-out checks, maintain asepsis, and collaborate with anesthesia. Requirements include TX RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2+ years of RN experience; on-site, Mon-Fri schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and RN graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license and CPR certifications (BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred).
• Minimum two years RN experience; ASC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per standards and organizational policies in a single OR.
• Prepare operating room and ensure asepsis, correct prepping and draping.
• Conduct time-out to confirm patient, procedure and site; document findings.
• Coordinate with surgical team, anesthesia personnel, and center staff.
• Maintain safety, equipment, and supplies; manage urgent needs quickly.
