Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners—Horizon Baptist Beaches Surgery Center in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to support pre-op, PACU, and stepdown care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery setting.

You will assess patients, deliver individualized nursing care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes. Florida RN license required and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current FL RN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3–5 years).
• Current BLS; ACLS required within 6 months.
• Preferred: Member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery.
• Document accurately and communicate with team members and patients.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols.
• Support patient education and post-op instructions.
